Norman’s Hallmark Celebrates Grand Opening of Expanded Store at Hamilton Plaza in Hamilton, N.J.
Greeting Card and Specialty Gift Retailer Welcomes Customers to New Space
HAMILTON TWP., N.J., Jan. 22, 2021 – Greeting card and specialty gift retailer Norman's Hallmark celebrated the grand reopening of its relocated and expanded store during the holiday season at Hamilton Plaza in Hamilton. Situated at the intersection of heavily traveled Route 33 and Whitehorse-Hamilton Square Road, the 175,500-square-foot retail property is exclusively leased and managed by Levin Management Corporation (LMC).
Hallmark has been a tenant at Hamilton Plaza for three decades. Norman’s Hallmark, the largest independent Gold Crown chain in the United States, purchased the existing store operation there in 2019 and subsequently committed to a move within the center to a larger, 7,200-square-foot space. Family owned and operated for over 80 years, Norman’s Hallmark is a growing chain with long standing roots in the local market.
“We’ve created a wonderful shopping environment in this inviting and fully modernized store, and the response from our customers has been very positive,” said Howard Henschel, Norman’s Hallmark chief executive officer. “We started in Trenton and have had a long presence in the Mercer County marketplace. The opening of our expanded Hamilton Plaza location marks an exciting new chapter in serving the regional community from our brand-new location.”
In addition to Hallmark products, which include an expansive selection of Keepsake Ornaments, Norman’s carries gift merchandise from other major suppliers including Vera Bradley, Yankee Candle, Life is Good, Willow Tree, Jellycat, Mud Pie, PuraVida and many others. The Hamilton Plaza location also carries specialty candy and food items in-store. As an added convenience introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic, Norman’s offers curbside pick-up through hallmark.com. Also added during the pandemic was the launch of their own website, normanshallmark.com, which offers a wide variety of their gifts as well.
Anchored by an 81,000-square-foot ShopRite, Hamilton Plaza also includes Petco, Dollar Tree, T-Mobile, Mattress Firm, Texas Roadhouse, Moe’s Southwest Grill, America’s Best Contacts and Eyeglasses, Queen Bee Nail Salon, and A Slice of Brooklyn (coming soon).
For nearly seven decades, North Plainfield, N.J.-based LMC has served as a trusted single-source commercial real estate services provider for institutional and private owners. The firm today maintains a diversified, retail-focused portfolio of 110 properties totaling almost 15.5 million square feet in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states, offering leasing, property management, financial management and reporting, construction management and development, lease administration, marketing services, and acquisition and disposition consulting services. LMC’s capabilities continue to evolve with new technologies, efficiencies and sustainability-focused initiatives to serve a new generation of properties, investors and tenants.
