Zaika BBQ & Grill Joins Tenant Mix at Fords Shopping Center in Fords, N.J.

6,800-SF Lease Commitment Brings Center to 100 Percent Occupancy

FORDS, N.J., Feb. 10, 2017 – Pakistani restaurant Zaika BBQ & Grill has leased 6,800 square feet at Fords Shopping Center in the Fords section of Woodbridge Twp., announced Levin Management Corporation (LMC), exclusive leasing agent for the 67,000-square-foot center.

LMC’s Vanessa Fernandez, leasing representative, negotiated the long-term lease on behalf of the Middlesex County retail property. Ata U. Rahman of RE/MAX Diamond Realtors represented the tenant.

Zaika BBQ & Grill is relocating to Fords Shopping Center from Edison. “Zaika BBQ & Grill is a locally owned business that simply outgrew its current space,” said Fernandez. “The move to Fords Shopping Center will more than triple the restaurant’s size to better serve its current and new customers. Location plays a pivotal role in the success of any restaurant venture, and Fords Shopping Center’s visible Route 1 address and outstanding demographics – were key factors in attracting this tenant.”

Family-owned and operated, Zaika BBQ & Grill offers patrons a full menu of affordably priced authentic Pakistani cuisine including spiced curries and a variety of BBQ mixed-grill dishes. Diners may eat in or take out, and catering for private parties and corporate events also is available.

Located on heavily traveled Route 1, where the daily traffic count exceeds 88,400 vehicles, Fords Shopping Center is anchored by Favorites, the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority’s Off-Track Wagering Facility – home to McLoone’s Woodbridge Grille restaurant. The center also includes Vintage Vinyl, a record store that hosts frequent live music performances; Rite Aid Pharmacy; and a mix of diverse restaurants and services. Fords Shopping Center serves a residential population of more than 308,000 people within a five-mile radius. The marketplace offers an average household income of $95,000.
