Carter’s Now Open at Somerville Circle Shopping Center in Raritan, N.J.

Children’s Apparel Retailer Grows Regional Presence at Levin-Managed Property

RARITAN, N.J., Mar. 21, 2016 – National children’s clothing retailer Carter's recently celebrated the grand opening of its newest Garden State store at Somerville Circle Shopping Center in Raritan. Located on the border of Bridgewater Township, the 157,000-square-foot Somerset County shopping center is exclusively leased and managed by North Plainfield, N.J.-based Levin Management.

“Somerville Circle Shopping Center already is home to a Toys “R” Us/Babies “R” Us and Five Below, making Carter’s a tremendous complement to these youth-oriented retailers,” noted Vanessa Fernandez, Levin’s leasing representative. “Somerville Circle Shopping Center has been a retail mainstay in its market for many years, and we are confident the presence of Carter’s – a high-growth retailer with strong brand recognition – will help it retain that position.”

Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Carter’s is a leading brand of children’s clothing, gifts and accessories in America. Carter’s clothing for children from newborn through size 8 includes sleepwear, playwear, swimwear, jackets and outerwear, shoes, accessories and more.

Located at 300 Route 202 at the intersection of Routes 202/206 and Route 28, Somerville Circle Shopping Center is also anchored by Staples, Petco and P.C. Richard & Son. Other national and regional tenants include Panera Bread, Burger King, Five Below and Harmon Discount. The center serves a growing residential population of more than 112,000 people within a five-mile radius. The marketplace has an average household income above $115,000 per year, and the daily traffic count on Route 202/206 exceeds 86,000 vehicles per day.

In business for more than six decades, Levin is one of the nation's leading retail real estate services firms. The company has consistently grown its portfolio and internal resources, responding to a variety of retail and economic climates. The firm’s services today include leasing, property management, accounting, construction management and marketing.
