Transforming the former grocery space into a two-tenant layout, with Planet Fitness now open and another exciting retailer announcement coming soon.

Levin Management Corporation is redeveloping the former grocery store at Middlesex Corner, reconfiguring the 25,874-square-foot freestanding building into space for two high-quality retailers. The project represents a strategic transformation of an underutilized asset into a more dynamic, market-responsive retail property.
Planet Fitness now occupies a portion of the building, bringing a strong daily traffic driver to the center. A second tenant announcement is coming soon, further advancing the property’s repositioning and enhancing its long-term value.
The freestanding building includes a 7,155-square-foot basement, two full loading docks, and parking for 120 vehicles, offering functionality and flexibility for a range of retail uses. Located at the corner of Warrenville Road and Bound Brook Road/Route 28, the property benefits from frontage on two main thoroughfares and convenient access to Route 22 and I-287. Middlesex Corner also features a modern, 3,500-square-foot McDonald’s developed in 2017.
This redevelopment reflects Levin’s ongoing focus on reimagining retail real estate through thoughtful planning, strategic reconfiguration, and tenanting that aligns with today’s consumer and market demands.
