Levin identified an underutilized parcel of land adjacent to the St. Georges Crossing site and spearheaded its off-market purchase. Leveraging the center’s location and strong roster of anchor tenants – including ShopRite, P.C. Richard & Son, PetSmart and Pier 1 Imports – we successfully secured a lease with T.J.Maxx. We then obtained site plan approval and built a new, 23,000-square-foot free-standing building for the off-price fashion retailer.
T.J.Maxx opened at St. Georges Crossing in Fall 2015, to a long line of waiting customers. Our creativity enabled us to seize an opportunity to bring another nationally recognized anchor tenant to the 340,000-square-foot Middlesex County shopping center. This chain of events underscores our firm’s ongoing effort to elevate and maximize competitive positioning for client properties, and resulted in a real win for St. Georges Crossing. In short, it solidified the property’s position in the marketplace and has led to ongoing interest by other household-name tenants.
Most recently, in 2019, Comcast opened an Xfinity Retail Store at St. Georges Crossing. The interactive concept occupies part of a free-standing, high-visibility outparcel building – formerly occupied by a Bertucci’s restaurant – fronting on Route 1. St. Georges Crossing’s mix of retail, restaurant and service tenants also includes Upscale American restaurant and sports bar Blu Alehouse, West Marine, AutoZone, House of Wine & Liquor, Verizon Wireless, European Wax Center, Visionworks and Taco Bell, among others.
