Panera Bread Now Open at High Pointe Commons in Harrisburg, Pa.
Fast-Casual Chain Occupies 4,800 SF at Levin-Managed Center
HARRISBURG, Pa., Dec. 11, 2019 – Panera Bread has opened a new, 4,800-square-foot bakery-café at High Pointe Commons, becoming the latest eatery to join the evolving dining component at this 355,000-square-foot regional shopping center in Harrisburg.
Levin Management Corporation (LMC) serves as exclusive leasing and managing agent for High Pointe Commons. The commercial real estate services Sidney Singer, senior leasing representative, arranged the Panera Bread lease; Rick Schuch of CBRE represented the tenant.
“The addition of Panera Bread certainly is a tremendous draw and complements the diverse array of dining experiences at High Pointe Commons,” said Singer. “In addition to offering healthier-for-you menu items, Panera Bread’s early opening time will drive additional morning traffic to the center and be a valuable amenity for breakfast-seekers that already regularly visit High Pointe Commons early in the day to shop or work out.”
Panera Bread, which occupies a stand-alone pad site and features a drive-thru at High Point Commons, offers freshly baked bread, pastries, bagels and spreads, and other breakfast items along with sandwiches, grain bowls, tossed-to-order salads, a kid’s menu and soup served in bread bowls. What started as one, 400-square-foot cookie store in Boston has grown into a company with more than 2,300 locations.
High Pointe Commons serves as the focal point of a mixed-use development strategically positioned off Exit 2 of I-283. The property serves a residential population of more than 151,000 people within a five-mile radius and a daytime population of 125,700 within those same five miles.
Shadow-anchored by high-volume Target and JCPenney stores, along with junior anchor Christmas Tree Shops, High Pointe Commons is home to a mix of national and regional retail concepts, service providers and restaurants such as Orangetheory Fitness, Petco, Mattress Firm, T-Mobile, Lane Bryant, Subway, Chili’s, Famous Footwear, GNC, Tropical Smoothie Café, Moe’s Southwest Grill, and Friendly’s, among others.
LMC currently is marketing space availabilities at High Pointe Commons ranging from 2,000 to 7,600 square feet.
