IREM NAMES LEVIN FIRM OF THE YEAR

NORTH PLAINFIELD--Levin Management, an IREM-accredited management organization (AMO), has been named the "Firm of the Year" by the Institute of Real Estate Management, New Jersey Chapter No. 1.

In addition, Rose Evans, Vice President of Property Management for Levin, received the chapter's Community Service Award, an honor bestowed only twice in IREM's history.

Levin was recognized by IREM at the chapter's Heritage Night Dinner held at the Doubletree Hotel in Somerset. Founded in 1952, Levin currently maintains a growing portfolio of over 80 diverse retail properties totaling more than 12 million square feet. Properties range from downtown stores to lifestyle centers, and from neighborhood and community centers to power centers, located in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina.

The award given to Levin's Rose Evans reflects her commitment to community service and to the real estate management industry. Her numerous volunteer positions include serving as Chair of the Somerset County Regional Center Partnership, which is involved in regional planning for three municipalities and also as a member of the Board of the Somerset County Business Partnership. In addition, she is a member of the Somerville-Bridgewater Rotary Club where she completed a two-year term as district treasurer for Rotary District 2510.
